Strawberries, banana, apple, and cherries are also found useful in treatment of gout. Improper diet is among the major causes of gout.
Pain in the big toe is a common symptom while gout can affect elbows, finger joints, ankles, ears, and wrists. The attack in the toe generally occurs at midnight or in early morning hours. The symptoms also include swelling and tenderness in affected area that could last from some hours to a few days.
