Essential Accessories for the Playstation 4
Yes, you may be reading this article and thinking “But the Playstation 4 isn’t even out yet!” You would be right, but even still, it is definitely going to be coming out (with 3 Playstations made already I don’t think they will be changing the naming of it any time soon). There are many things that go into a video gaming console. The hardware that it has is essential. One of the drawbacks of the Wii compared to the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 is that it doesn’t have true high definition. Another thing that is important for a video game system is the games that it comes out with. Lastly, and probably one of the most important things, is the accessories that come out for any video game system. They can truly enhance the gaming experience (or just make your stuff look cool). Here are what I think are the essential Playstation 4 accessories:
A Racing Wheel
There are many awesome racing games for the Playstation 3 and there will definitely be some good sequels. One of the top racing franchises for the Playstation consoles has been Gran Turismo. This is an awesome game that is extremely realistic. Being able to use a racing wheel and racing pedal system helps to make these games more realistic.
Motion Sensing Capabilities
The Nintendo Wii revolutionized the way video games are played by introducing the Wii remote which can sense your motion and then translate that motion into the video game. The Xbox 360 has announced Project Natal that will actually see what your whole body is doing and translate that motion into the games. Heck, even the games on the iPhone and iPod touch can sense your motion. The Playstation 4 definitely needs to implement some sort of motion sensing device either in the console or as an accessory.
While there may be other accessories, we won’t know until the announcement of the system itself and the PS4 release date. Until then, it’s all speculation and dreaming.
